How do I sell at the flea market?
Selling at the Flea Market is easy!
Does your garage sale bring you thousands of people? If not, try selling at the Colorado Springs Flea Market. We’re here to provide a friendly and profitable place for you to sell your goods and products. Let us answer a few of the questions you may have about renting a space at southern Colorado’s largest flea market. Do I need a reservation? No, reservations are not required. However you must park in the space assigned by the gate attendant. A reservation allows you to select your space in advance. Reserved sellers also need not wait in the early morning seller’s line. Reservations are taken at the Flea Market Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am to 4pm in the main office and weekends during normal business hours at the Info Booth. How much does it cost? The fee for a single non-reserved space is $31 on Saturday and includes a bonus spot! A single non-reserved space on Sunday is $31; a reserved space is an additional $3; prime spaces are $41. If you book your space for BOTH Saturday and Sunday it is $59 for a non-prime space, and $77 for a prime space, you MUST book these in advance. Friday spaces are $10. Over-sized vehicles, trailers and second vehicles require an additional space purchase. Is electricity available? Yes, spaces with electrical hook-up are an extra $5. Capacity is 12 amps, 120 volt. There is a $4 charge for a blown fuse. Are tables available? Yes. You may rent tables for $4 each at the seller’s booth. We will deliver to your space and pick-up – just let the gate attendant know that you would like a table and we will radio the table cart driver to come see you. Do I need a license? No. You are given a Colorado Department of Revenue sales tax envelope upon entry to the Flea Market. You are required to pay the state sales tax on your sales. This envelope is collected upon your exit from the Flea Market. Licensed vendors may pay their own sales tax directly to the state. |
